Posted by Kristin Oberlander - As in many presidential elections, both sides are touting the importance of small business and offering plans to help them grow. The National Association for the Self-Employed (NASE) is used to hearing lip service from politicians who say they want to help, but rarely follow through with policies for the self-employed.
This year, we decided to send a questionnaire to both President Obama’s and Governor Romney’s camps about what specific policies they would put in place to help the nation’s most plentiful and smallest companies. Click here to read the questionnaire for Pres. Obama and click here to view Gov. Romney’s.
