With this week being National Small Business Week, the National Association for the Self-Employed (NASE) – the nation’s leading resource for self-employed and micro-businesses – today applauds America’s 22 million smallest businesses for their contributions to our national and local economies. Collection Of Online Sales Tax Looming

Many business owners are following with interest the recent passage of the Marketplace Fairness Act of 2013 (S. 734) by the United States Senate. The legislation would allow for states to collect and remit sales taxes from Internet sales. Businesses with revenue less than $1 million in online sales are exempt.
